Meet Dr. Janoff
Coos Bay Periodontist - Donald Janoff, D.D.S., M.B.A. - Oral Surgery
Donald Janoff of Danville relocated in 2006 from Seattle to the Champaign-Urbana area. Janoff graduated from Danville High School and attended the University of Illinois, both in Urbana and Chicago at the School of Dentistry.
While at the Medical Center he was president of the Medical Center Union Board and voted the Out-standing Student of the Medical Center for 1972.
Following graduation he pursued a doctorate in physiology in Urbana and the Graduate College of Medicine.
Switching to Northwestern University to complete his residency in periodontics, he did advanced post-doctoral research in bone physiology. In 1980 he became an assistant professor of graduate periodontics at Tufts Dental School and practiced in western Massachusetts.
Moving to Oregon and Washington, he completed an MBA at Washington State University (1999) with a focus on the various aspects of dental delivery systems.
His clinical focus is advanced bone regeneration for periodontal and dental implant patients.
Recently he added to his Specialty of Periodontics the award of Fellowship into the International Academy of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Janoff is a member of many organizations outside of the dental field, the Rotary Club, Mount Sinai Temple and is heavily dedicated and a member of numerous orginizations with the conservation of the outdoors, such as the Safari Club Interenational.
In his down time, Dr. Janoff keeps busy with golfing, hunting, fishing and occasionaly being a couch potato.
